Donato love

I was visiting Mr. Gurney's blog and saw that Donato Giancola has a new DVD, whaaat?!? why didn't I know this?!? I loved The Mechanic and this would surely fit perfectly next to it in my shelf, not to mention my dvd player.

I want it. I need it. N·O·W. Where's that stupid "donate" button when you need it?

Battle 1 : mission acomplished

It's done! I'm gonna call this Rubber ducky joy of joys when I squeeze you you make noise, I can't remember the last time I had so much fun painting.

Lessons learned about opaques: they are much more easy to use than I thought, can enhance transparents and don't look dull at all even when used as thick as possible, they are really useful to correct mistakes.

This is a close up of the ear, I didn't notice that some foam should be covering it and couldn't lift the paint to a white paper so... just used some pro white and blue to form the bubbles over the remaining orange, I think it worked pretty well:

I WANT GOUACHE!!!

1000 journals

Last night I was reading ZOM's blog and found this incredible promo of 1000 journals, the idea of the the short film is the most interesting thing itself, a guy putting 1000 brand new journals, numbering them and giving them away to travel the world waiting for them to (maybe) come back, I had to see the trailer:

Right from the if you ask a group of kindergardeners "raise your hand if you are an artist" it owned me, after that I just needed to visit the web page to know more about the whole thing, and now I'm desperate to see the movie, to know about what went through the minds of the people who added something to them, who saw the additions of other people after them, the pages themselves, I'm really really curious about it, it's quite interesting* or maybe just good marketing?*, anyway, I'm glad it's available.
