I wonder what I'll try next, making these 5x7" has make me want to go big for the next project :D or maybe a portrait for the colorful watercolor group, it's time to join in the fun!

This one is a cutie. Can't decide which one I want, the teddy bear or the candy cane! :D In this case, lucky us to get both.

Balaji I'm glad you liked it :) And all the fun is in the process, right? that's why I love to post them, I have much more to say about the steps than about the finished piece so you can expect more and more and more works in progress in the future.

Ann, you know the saying: "teddies and cane come always in combo" ok, I made that up, but should be true! :D

Ahhhh, how cute! I like the idea of him hanging from the bg of the painting :) I'll have to get one of these for my sister, who loves anything with bears.

Teresa, my zazzle mug came and I'm drinking my coffee in it right now. Love the painting on it and have posted a note about it with photos on my blog (the photos can't show up the great colors but I know they are there when I pick this up each time I take a sip). Thanks so much!

Deb everybody like extrasugary cuteness or so it seems! I'm so happy to hear you like it, though I'm calling this one the end of this year's card series, onto new projects now :)

I have to admit that when watercolorists get all seasonal and holiday-ish, the eyes prepare to avert. But this is quite different -- they're Great!! And do you mean to say these little gems are going out as originals? Dang. Feliz Navidad!

Ha! Nick I'm not usually a seasonal whore but I couldn't ressist to do them this year, who would've said once you start it'd be so difficult to stop? Feliz Navidad a ti también!
